ADEQ Department Structure
Our Department (ADEQ) is generally structured into:
- Divisions (Basically a logical assignment of our staff into groups dealing with environmental concerns such as Air, Water, Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste etc., or administrative functions.)
- and Sections, also referred to as Branches. (Essentially "sub-groups" within a Division.)
Our Web site layout and navigation closely follows this

- ADEQ Facility and Permit Summary (PDS)... ADEQ's PDS multi-media database - Air, Mining, Water & Solid Waste, including PDF copies of some permits.
- Air Facility Emissions/Stack Data... Details about permitted facility Emissions and Stack data (ISTEPS Database).
- Air Permit Applications... This is the database the Air Division uses to track the processing of permit applications.
- AR Haz Waste Generators (RCRA)... Details about Hazardous Waste generating facilities, ownership, violations, penalties and fees.

- Water NPDES Final Permits... A searchable database of the Water NPDES final permits.
- Water NPDES Public Notice... A searchable database of the Water NPDES Public Notice permits.

- Inspectors
- Click "Inspectors" on the top-row for a web page with Division specific links.
- Click the Division link on the drop-down menu to go a specific Division's Inspectors Searchable database.
- Regulations
- Click "Regulations" on the top-row for a web page of all current Regulations.
- The Drop-down menu contains several Regulation-related links.
- Complaints
- Click "Complaints" on the top-row for more information on filing a complaint.
- Search
- Click in the Search Input area, enter a search value, and click on the "GO" button for a

Menus on the left side of every page are "categorized"...
- A "General Department" information menu is on the Home Page and other non-Division specific Web pages.
- A "Division-specific Menu" is on every Web page relating that particular Division. It has links to various pages containing information about that Division.
Every page on our Website has links at the bottom
of the page:
- Send Us Feedback - links to a page where you can send questions, comments or suggestions to various people or groups within the Department.
- ADEQ Helpline - Customer Service "hotline" where you can get immediate phone help on specific questions or problems.
- An Question/Comments E-mail link that is Division-specific.
- Privacy, Legal, Accessibility and PDF links go to specific information pages.
- ADEQ Webmaster - Navigation question? Found a Website problem? Report a broken link; Offer suggestions for new/better links; compliments; flames... click that link.
