  • Employment Application: All applicants must submit their application via the state of Arkansas jobs web site; www.ark.org/arstatejobs for each position for which he/she is applying. You must complete the entire application form including "Employment Work History"- list all work and volunteer experience [include dates and hours worked]. You should answer all questions and follow the instructions on the application form. You should provide correct telephone numbers and addresses where you can be contacted.
  • Resume: A resume is not accepted in place of the employment application form. A resume can be submitted with the application but does not substitute for information requested on the employment application form.
  • College Transcript: If the job you are applying for requires a college degree or professional certification, a copy must be submitted at time of application to: transcript@adeq.state.ar.us We prefer official transcripts but unofficial transcripts will be accepted for application purposes. Transcripts must be received before close of business on the close date indicated on the job vacancy posting. A separate transcript must be submitted for each position applied for that requires a college degree.
  • Veterans Preference: To be evaluated for "Veterans Preference consideration," a copy of DD-214 Form or current Veterans Administration Letter must be submitted to the transcript@adeq.state.ar.us site for each position applied for.

ADEQ Qualification Review of Experience and Education Requirements

Your employment application is reviewed by ADEQ staff to determine if the required minimum qualifications [MQs] stated for the job are met. Minimum qualifications are met through direct applicable education and experience. If the position you applied for requires a college degree and you did not submit a transcript you will not meet the educational requirements of the position. Each applicant will be sent an E-mail notifying them if they did or did not meet the minimum qualifications for each position applied for.

After the close of the advertisement period, those applications meeting minimum qualifications are forwarded to the appropriate interviewing supervisor for additional review and consideration. Applicants selected for an interview, will then be contacted by a representative of the interview committee.
