DUTIES INCLUDE: This position serves as the Network Manager and is responsible for the overall health and integrity of the Department’s servers and network infrastructure. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of a small support staff, installing, maintaining and administrating hardware and software of servers, administration and authorization of user accounts and e-mail system, field office support and network connectiivity, data replication and backup, security of network and servers, configures routers and switches and VPN services. Network Manager reports to Division Chief. Some travel and after hours work may be required.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Review/analyze/recommend approval of plans and specifications for air permits issued under the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments, as well as other federally enforceable permits, and permits issued under the Arkansas Air Pollution Control Code (including Title V permits); conduct inspections; provide technical assistance; perform engineering studies; and perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for providing technical assistance to industry and division staff related to SLEIS (State and Local Emissions Inventory System) database. Responsible for research and technical analysis of Nonattainment issues including transportation, photo-chemical, and meteorological air modeling; other duties as assigned.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Review applications for permits (Storm Water Permits, Discharge permits, and No-Discharge Permits [Land Application]); Review, analyze and recommend modifications to plans and specifications submitted by permittees; draft permits in accordance with existing state and federal rules and regulations; conduct site visits to new and existing permitted facilities; must meet deadlines; provide technical assistance to permit applicants, engineering firms and agency personnel; prepare and present technical information verbally and in writing; perform engineering studies and other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED: Overnight in-state travel.
