Old household chemicals don't have to be kept in your garage - or dumped in landfills.
Household hazardous waste collection centers throughout Arkansas accept household quantities
of paint and solvents, automobile chemicals, herbicides and pesticides, cleaners and auto and household
batteries.
Collection centers also offer Chemical Exchange programs, where reusable products are available
at no charge. Residents who use only part of a container of a household chemical can bring the remainder for
distribution through the exchange.
Items should be in original containers and clearly labeled. Contact any center listed below for
additional information.
