Notification of Notice of Intent (NOI)
For NPDES General Permit ARG640000 for Wastewater Discharge from Water Treatment Plants

This is to give notice that the Permits Branch of the Water Division has received a complete Notice of Intent (NOI) from the applicants (permittee) listed in the table below to obtain coverage for Wastewater Discharge from Water Treatment Plants under NPDES General Permit ARG640000.

In accordance with Part I.A.7. of the NPDES General Permit ARG640000, the public will have five (5) business days from the date NOI deemed complete (please see table below) to review and comment on NOI.  The comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. of the final day of the five (5) day comment period. ADEQ will review comments received during this period and, if necessary, require the applicant to revise the NOI.  If determined appropriate by ADEQ, the operator will be granted coverage under this general permit upon written notification by ADEQ.

Comments will only be considered if they regard a specific facility’s NOI.  Comments on the contents of the NPDES General Permit ARG640000 will not be considered during the public comment period.
