Jeffery Crow

Jeff Crow was chosen as the 17th Director of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) on February 17, 2016.

Commissioner Crow holds an associate degree in criminal justice from National Park College, a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from John Brown University, and a master’s degree in public administration from Arkansas State University. He began his career with the AGFC in 1986 as a wildlife officer, and ten years later he accepted a position with the Arkansas State Police (ASP) where he had assignments in highway patrol, criminal investigations, training and SWAT. He retired after 25 years with the ASP to accept a position as a law enforcement instructor at the University of Arkansas’ Criminal Justice Institute. In addition to his career as a state public servant, Commissioner Crow also served 25 years on active duty and as a member of the reserves, in the United State Marine Corps. He is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom II. He retired at the rank of Sergeant Major.
