William "Al" Eckert III

Mr. Eckert currently is with First National Title Company in Little Rock, Arkansas. From 2002 to 2017, Mr. Eckert was in private practice with Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull, PllC in little Rock, Arkansas, representing clients in permitting, enforcement and rulemaking environmental matters and environmental issues in real property transactional matters.

Prior to joining the Quattlebaum law firm, Mr. Eckert served from 1992 to 2002 as an attorney with the legal Division of the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, during his tenure serving as Chief of the Solid Waste Division and as Chief Counsel to the agency. Mr. Eckert is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and is a Sustaining Member of the Arkansas Bar Foundation. In 2005, He has served as a member of the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks, and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Environmental Federation and the Ozark Regional land Trust.

Mr. Eckert is a graduate of Hendrix College and the University of Arkansas School of law, and is also the author of "Environmental Issues for the Arkansas lawyer," The Arkansas Lawyer, 2004, V. 39, No.2 (Spring), 16-21.
