Dr. Delia Haak

Dr. Delia Haak is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, earning a doctorate in education, and a MBA from the Walton College of Business. Haak earned a bachelor of science in Business Administration from John Brown University.

Dr. Haak served at John Brown University from 1985 to 2006 in a variety of capacities teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the College of Business, where she continues to teach as an adjunct professor in the graduate business program. From 2007-2016, Dr. Haak, served as Executive Director of the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, a stakeholder-driven organization which encompasses northwest Arkansas and northeast Oklahoma. In 2015 Haak was appointed to serve as Federal Chair of the Arkansas-Oklahoma Arkansas River Compact Commission as the two states continue to work together in the development and management of water resources of the Arkansas River Basin. Haak served on the Arkansas Forestry Commission from 2015-2019. Delia, and husband Bill, were the 2009 Arkansas Farm Family of the Year and are currently a research farm in the Discovery Farms Program of the University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture. Dr. Haak is a member of Arvest Bank Board of Siloam Springs, a member of NWA Fellowship Bible Church, a member of the Gentry Public Library Board, and a member of Circle of Life Ladies Auxiliary.
