Bruce Holland

Bruce Holland began serving as the Executive Director of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (ANRC) in 2016.

Commissioner Holland attended the University of Arkansas and majored in Chemical Engineering. His work history includes Casting Department and Quality Assurance Supervisor for Gerdau MacSteel aerospace and automobile steel mill in Fort Smith and as an Arkansas cattle rancher. Prior to his appointment to the ANRC, he served as Executive Director of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission and served for 4 years as a State Senator in the Arkansas General Assembly. During his Senate tenure Commissioner Holland was appointed Assistant President Pro Tempore and served as Chairman of the Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee. He is Council Secretary of the Policies & Resolutions with Land O'Lakes Corporation Governance Council, former Chairman of the Farm Service Agency County Committee for Crawford, Scott and Sebastian Counties, former President of the Sebastian County Farm Bureau, and Board member of the Sebastian County Historical Society.
