Investigation Comment:
Recon inspection was conducted on 09-08-06. Inspection revealed that the area at outfall 001 was free of excessive trash and debris. The pipe on the north end of the ditch is the location at which the facility re-introduces water mixed with sulfuric acid to help control pH. It is located approximately 600' upstream from outfall 001. Water enters the ditch at a rate of 430 gallons/ minute. No other pipes were observed in the ditch.

Complainant alleges that the facility is polluting the water at the outfall by allowing an excessive build-up of trash and other debris in this location. He also alleges that the facility discharges processed wastewater into the storm water ditch through a pipe on the north end of the ditch.
