ADEQ Sets Regulated Waste Management and Pollution Prevention Webinar and Workshops

NORTH LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) will present a free webinar on regulated waste management and pollution prevention at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

The two-hour webinar will include information on the Solvent Wipe Rule, contingency plans, common Resource Conservation and Recovery Act violations, personnel training, and basic best management practices to prevent pollution, reduce waste and energy, and operate more efficiently. Staff from ADEQ’s Regional Services and the Business Regulatory Assistance Program will present the webinar.

Three workshops on the same material will be presented at locations across the state:

• March 1, 2017, Donald W. Reynolds Community Center, 100 East University Road, Magnolia
• March 7, 2017, ADEQ Commission Room, 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock
• March 14, 2017, West Memphis Utility Commission, 604 East Cooper Road, West Memphis
