CAP/Marketing Board Meeting Scheduled

NORTH LITTLE ROCK—The Arkansas State Marketing Board for Recyclables and Compliance Advisory Panel (CAP) have merged into a new nine-member panel. They will conduct their first meeting on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Headquarters, in the second floor conference room, located at 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m.

At the meeting, ADEQ staff member Amanda Leamons will discuss the history and purpose of CAP and George Wheatley of Waste Management will elaborate on the purpose of the Marketing Board.

The Marketing Board advises and assists ADEQ with finding and maintaining markets for recyclable materials in Arkansas. CAP is a federal program that was established to help small businesses with their air permits.
