ADEQ Extends Nomination Period for 2018 Environmental Awards

NORTH LITTLE ROCK—The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is extending the nomination period for its 2018 Arkansas Environmental Stewardship (ENVY) Award and Arkansas Environmental Technology (TECHe) Award through 4:30 p.m. (Central Time) on March 9, 2018. It is not necessary for applicants to be formally nominated.

Nomination forms, application forms, and more information on the awards criteria can be found at www.adeq.state.ar.us/poa/enterprise-services/awards/. Applications are due March 16, 2018, and must be submitted by email to envyaward@adeq.state.ar.us or techeaward@adeq.state.ar.us.

ADEQ’s annual ENVY and TECHe awards recognize organizations or citizens for their efforts to protect and enhance the state’s environment. The awards will be presented in the spring of 2018 at a ceremony in central Arkansas.

ADEQ employees and their immediate family are not eligible for the awards.
