Arkansas Clean Cities Partnering to Host National Drive Electric Week Event

NORTH LITTLE ROCK—The Arkansas Clean Cities Coalition, in partnership with the City of Little Rock Sustainability Commission and Today’s Power, will host a National Drive Electric Week event at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Clinton Presidential Center at 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.

Local auto dealers will be on hand with all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles available for test drives. Current electric vehicle drivers from across Arkansas will also attend and speak to the public about their experience driving electric vehicles.

Speakers at the event include Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Office of Energy Associate Director Mitchell Simpson, ADEQ Office of Air Quality Epidemiology Supervisor Tricia Treece, and Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola.
