PRELIMINARY DRAFTS of Proposed Regulation Changes

The preliminary draft regulations linked on this page are in various stages of development. By no means should they be considered final drafts open to official public comments.

They are posted for the benefit of interested persons who wish to see which Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission regulations are being considered for possible revision, and to demonstrate the current state of the revision process.

The drafts listed are subject to change before being presented to the Commission for review and authorization to proceed with the public participation process - which includes publication of a legal notice announcing proposed changes, setting a public hearing date or dates, and providing a mechanism and a deadline for submitting official comments on the proposed changes.

While the Department welcomes comments or suggestions on the preliminary drafts, any such comments submitted at this time can only be reviewed for informational purposes; they cannot be made part of the official record, unless a separate submission of the comments is made during the course of the official public comment period announced by a published legal notice.
