Investigation Comment:
On March 12, 2018, I contacted Rachel Johnson, Georgia Pacific - Crossett Environmental Engineer, who put me on speakerphone with herself and Sarah Ross, Georgia Pacific - Crossett Environmental Manager. I informed Ms. Ross and Ms. Johnson of the complaint and they stated that the area of concern is the entrance and exit road for the wastewater treatment system (7th Avenue; see Figure 1). Two (2) days a week a tank truck of hydrogen peroxide enters and exits this road to fill the hydrogen peroxide holding tank that is allowed to be used in accordance with condition Part II. (21.) of permit AR00001210. No other tanker trucks or other trucks carrying liquid enter or exit this area as stated by Ms. Johnson and Ms. Ross. There are no additional concerns by ADEQ Office of Water Quality Compliance Branch in regards to the complaint from Cheryl Slavant and the information provided by Leroy Patton.
