Investigation Comment:
The city's NPDES permit requires remediation and reporting of SSO to the OWQ - Enforcement Branch. On June 10, 2019, the SSO complaint was forwarded to the Enforcement Branch for follow-up (see email to Richard Healey, Branch Manager of the Enforcement Branch).

Description Comment:
From complaint form (W-9241) submitted online:
"In the City park, by the amphitheater, there is a sewage pump station. Every time it rains, sewage spills out, runs all over the ground, and into the creek which runs within 50 ft. of it, or less. That creek runs through both city, and state parks, and connects to the Sylamore south branch. You can clearly see and smell the sewage. This problem has been occurring for at least 3 years. Please come and have a look."
