The Water Division has four (4) branches whose aim is to protect and enhance the water quality of the State of Arkansas as follows:

  1. Permits Branch Discharge Permits, Stormwater General Permits (Construction, Industrial, MS4), Non-Stormwater General Permits (Car wash, Water Treatment), No-Discharge Permits (land Application, Oil and Gas)
     
  2. Water Quality Planning Branch Water Quality Standards (Regulation No. 2), TMDL, 303(d) list, 305(b)
  3. Enforcement Branch Compliance, CAO, NOV, SSO, NetDMR, Wastewater Licensing
  4. Inspection Branch Citizen's complaints, Fish Kill
