To protect and enhance human health and the environment by the prevention and remediation of pollution from regulated storage tank systems through a program of rulemaking; compliance monitoring/enforcement; corrective action; administration of the Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Fund; and encouraging voluntary efforts to protect and improve the environment for all Arkansans.

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks established by Act 173 of 1989 consists of seven members who are appointed by the Governor. They represent state, industry and private interests. The primary duty of the Committee is to advise and make recommendations regarding claims for payment from the Arkansas Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Fund.

Advisory Committee Meeting Schedule

Meetings are tentatively scheduled for the last Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise stated. The time and location: 9:00am at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality complex, 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72118-5317.
