Energy and Environment Innovation Planning

The Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ), City of Fort Smith, Metroplan, and Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission (NWARPC) are leading an initiative to develop Energy and Environment Innovation (EEI) plans that enable access to and enhance Arkansas's competitiveness for federal funding for energy infrastructure. The plans will support investment in technologies and practices that reduce pollutant emissions, create high-quality jobs, and spur economic growth in the state.
