Grants (APC&EC Reg. 36.1114)

DEQ can use ten percent (10%) of the moneys available in the Used Tire Recycling Fund each year for grants.

DEQ will administer tire abatement grants to be used only when the person(s) responsible for the cleanup is either unable or willing to properly and timely abate the tire site.

DEQ will administer market and economic stimulus incentive grants to eligible used tire programs, local government, or a state agency, board, or commission. The grant application forms may be found in the Forms link.

Tire Grant Records

The Tire Grant Program Records available below represent data taken from the tire grant quarterly progress reports that tire management districts and inter-districts are required to submit to DEQ. Each record includes the types and amounts of tire grant disbursements received, as well as other revenue and costs incurred during the time period indicated. Types and numbers of tires processed are also included.

A year to date summary and a district summary are included for each year.

Select the appropriate year to find waste tire grant distributions and other pertinent data for each waste tire management district and inter-district.
