Quality Assurance

Environmental information operations conducted by the Department of Energy & Environment (E&E) – Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) follow the Quality Directives established by the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Mission Support.

More information on EPA’s Quality Directives can be found here.

E&E's Quality Management Plan (QMP) describes its quality program and is reviewed annually for EPA approval. The QMP is the overarching quality document for the Department.

All work performed through extramural agreements, contracts, memoranda of understanding/agreement, or legal agreements with EPA are implemented with an approved Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP).
