Policy & Planning Branch
Policy & Planning Branch is responsible for regulatory review, making revisions to state air regulations and is service oriented specializing in technical, educational and graphical assistance for the Office of Air Quality.
Current projects involve facilitating the Department's responsibilities with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), revisions of state air regulations, reducing diesel emissions, risk assessments, atmospheric dispersion modeling and emission inventories. Air Policy and Planning also functions as the launch pad for new air initiatives and projects. Due to this, we are a good place to start when you need answers to air-related questions.
