Arkansas Clean Cities

Arkansas Clean Cities is a voluntary organizations made up of local and state government agencies, private companies, and nonprofit organizations. Through our public-private partnerships, we help enhance energy security, promote energy independence, and advance environmental quality in Arkansas.

Arkansas Energy Codes

Arkansas has statewide building codes for both residential homes and commercial buildings that use resources efficiently to save Arkansans energy and money. The Arkansas Energy Office is working to draft an updated state energy code.

Performance Contracting

Financial Mechanism
for Improvements

Arkansas Energy Performance Contracting (AEPC) is a financing mechanism available to state agencies and public institutions of higher learning that allows them to pay for energy efficiency improvements "up front", and then pay back the "loan" through annual energy savings.
