Energy management tools and resources are available for design professionals, owners and managers of industrial facilities. For example, energy assessments of plants' steam systems can identify opportunities for substantial savings. Effective energy management can reduce utility bills and optimize energy use.

Industry has expressed strong interest in these services. Of particular interest are: load management, peak shaving, energy audits, co-generation potential, waste energy recovery, lighting retrofits, process energy optimization and pollution prevention measures.
