August APC&E Commission Meeting Scheduled

NORTH LITTLE ROCK—The Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (APC&EC) will meet at 9:00 a.m. on August 25, 2017, in the Commission Room at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Headquarters on 5301 Northshore Drive in North Little Rock.

Director Becky Keogh will present an agency report. The commission will consider the department’s petition to adopt rulemaking on Regulation 2 for the City of Huntsville, the City of Fayetteville, Southwest Electric Power Company, and Halliburton Energy Services. The commission will also consider adoption of an Emergency Rule on Regulation 36 for the Used Tire Recycling and Accountability Program. Former APC&EC Commissioner, Dr. Joseph Bates, will be recognized by fellow commissioners.
