ADEQ Schedules Compliance Assistance Workshop Date

NORTH LITTLE ROCK—The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) will present a free workshop on regulatory compliance assistance Tuesday, November 7, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Henderson State University’s Garrison Activity & Conference Center in the Cabe Room, 1045 McKnight Drive in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

The three-hour workshop will include information on the following subjects:

• Solid Waste final rule
• Disposal fees, operator licensing, and financial assurance
• Common violations found during inspections
• What to expect during an air inspection
• Water permit literacy
• Emergency response—storm debris
• Pollution Prevention

Staff from ADEQ’s Office of Land Resources, Office of Air Quality, Office of Water Quality, Office of Operations and Outreach, and Office of Law and Policy will present the workshop.
